Initial situation
As part of the replacement of an outdated and error-prone store system landscape, Motorola was looking for a modern and scalable multi-shop solution to digitize B2B ordering processes for public authorities and institutions. Together with Acid21, the processes were reviewed and optimized, the right systems were selected and then implementation began. Motorola was able to rely on Acid21's expertise every step of the way.
What were the challenges?
The first 3 stores implemented - nationally and internationally
As an e-commerce agency, Acid21 made a significant contribution to the digital transformation of Motorola Solutions. The aim was to implement an online ordering system for Motorola radios. This project began with the successful establishment of three stores (in Hesse and Bavaria for the police and fire department; in Italy for the Italian army). The scalability of the project is particularly noteworthy: the processes were optimized and rolled out not only nationally, but also internationally and multi-regionally. Acid21 has helped to digitize processes in such a way that they meet complex, multi-regional and international requirements. A central instance was implemented that can be easily modified to adapt to different regional requirements.
Process optimization and digitalization
Acid21 has optimized Motorola Solution's purchasing process by introducing a digital approval workflow and a rights and role management system. This system, which includes roles such as clerk and approver, enables efficient processing and approval of orders. Customers benefit from this service as it provides differentiated access control and saves process costs. It no longer requires orders to be sent by letter or fax. This digital approach not only offers added value through additional service, but also cost savings and a direct online ordering option that eliminates the need for traditional, more time-consuming ordering methods.
