About ICAP
More and more countries have introduced emissions trading systems to help achieve their climate targets. More and more systems are using auctions as a mechanism for allocating allowances. Since 2018, ICAP has published a tool that provides up-to-date information on the prices of allowances. In this tool, certificate prices for various systems can be compared interactively online and downloaded and compared offline.
Initial situation
ACID21 was tasked with redeveloping the existing ICAP Allowance Price Explorer to improve its performance and user-friendliness. The focus was on expanding the scope of the information displayed and making the downloadable data more intuitive and efficient for users.

- Differentiated display and download authorizations for market data
