What were the challenges?

Online configurator for a modular luminaire/rail system
The URail configurator impresses with its user-friendliness, seamlessly linking the individual planning and realisation of lighting concepts. Once configurations have been finalised, they can be saved, reloaded at a later date and edited as required. In addition, thanks to a special configuration ID, the Paulmann hotline is available to provide customers with active support during planning. Another advantage: the parts list of the well-designed URail system can be easily transferred to the shopping basket of the Shopware 6 shop and purchased with just one click. In addition, there are multilingual and country-specific versions, each of which presents a country-specific range of items and corresponding prices, thus appealing to a broad and international target group.

Increase in the conversion rate
The URail configurator has achieved very good results so far: both the conversion rate has increased and the shopping basket value has been raised by the configurator. This is largely due to the high level of customer satisfaction, which was made possible by the option of customising different products and, above all, the "online consultation" for customers. They were thus able to design their lighting systems according to their precise ideas and needs, creating a personalised shopping experience.
